Last weekend the weather station projected 25 cm of rain for our community. Unfortunately our valley received 125 cm which resulted in the mud slide at Birken.
Lillooet Lake rose about 7′ to the spring high mark. It did no damage and Cataline remained clear and stable.
The lake is slowly returning to fall levels.
The SLRD just called to let us know that over the next 48 hours we are expecting another front quite similar to last weekend. They are projecting 25 cm of rain by Friday morning but since the pattern looks similar to last weekend we wanted everyone to be informed.
