Thanks to Arvid, Erich, Paul, and a number of other volunteers we now have three new electric locking gates installed at Gate 1, 2, and 4.
They are currently being finished and programmed. Once they are programmed they will be locked.
To access the gates from the Forest Service Road (FRS) you will need either a 4-digit code or a fob. When you exit the gates, they will automatically open and close as you drive past a sensor.
As part of this letter you are being given a personal 4-digit code. This is your personal access code. Simply enter your 4-digit code into the keypad and any of the three gates will open.
This 4-digit code was randomly set and is personal to you. If you forget the number you will find it on your profile page on our web site. https://lillooetlakeestates.ca/
If you have guests, feel free to give them your code but keep in mind that the whole purpose of the code is to create community security. If the number gets distributed freely around the purpose of the secure gates is lost. If damage, theft etc. occurs we will have the ability track what numbers were used to access what gates and at what time. So please be responsible.
We will be providing emergency vehicles with their own codes but you should also give them your code if you call them at 911.
The three gates will be brought on stream over the next month.
Fobs have been ordered. We thought they would cost $40 but because of the volume Arvid was able to get a huge discount and we will buy them for $21. If you ordered one please mail a check to LLE or make a money transfer. In both cases please provide your name and lot number so that Robie can credit your account. If by chance your account is not up to date with LLE please send the required funds before we complete your purchase of a fob.
We plan to complete more gates over the next year or so.
We will post times to pick up your fobs on our Facebook page and on our web site when they arrive. We will mail the remainder.
Your personal code is [newsletters_field name=”gatecode”]
Winterizing the Estate Water System
Winter is coming. To avoid freeze ups please turn your water off at the curb when you leave. Paul will turn off all those who are not here year round. He will do that when we see a big dip in temperature coming but you can save him time and effort by doing it yourself. If there are cracked pipes that result in water loss to the system you will be charged a fee to locate the problem.
List of Shame
Please be advised that we will be posting the list of all those in arrears on our web site at the end of October. Please get your late payments including interest in to LLE ASAP. Remember to put your invoice number on any e transfers.
We will attempt to update the list from time to time as accounts are settled.
Burn Pile
LLE does have a burn pile about ½ way up gate 2. If you drop materials please cut to not more than about 8 ‘ lengths and stack your branches etc. on top of the existing pile. This pile is strictly for garden refuge. Absolutely no household items or other garbage.
